Domino Games with Bergen Scoring
Bergen is a type of domino connecting game in which players score for playing a tile that places equal numbers on two or more of the open ends of the layout. There is also a score for being the first to run out of tiles but the aim of making 'double headers' and 'triple headers' (where the number at one end of the line matches the double played across the other end of the line) is more important.
Here is a list of traditional and invented domino games on pagat.com that have Bergen-style scoring that rewards mnaking the open ends of the layout equal.
Game | Players | Equipment | Game type | |
---|---|---|---|---|
Bergen | 2–4 | [6:6] | connecting:line equal end matching | |
Double Bergen | 2–4 | [6:6] [12:12] | connecting:cross | |
Flower & Scorpion | 2–4 | [6:6] | connecting:line match dice equal end matching |
