Card Games: Card Passing Games

These are generally children's games. You pass cards to one neighbour and receive cards from the other neighbour, the object being to collect a particular hand (as in Pig) or to avoid a certain card (as in Old Maid).

A more sophisticated example is the Israeli game Jukha which features conversation and bluffing, with the objective of collecting four of a kind.

In this group I also include a game in which only one hand is dealt, and passed around the table from player to player:

A related group of game is the Quartet group, in which cards are passed on request from any player to any other, not necessarily a neighbour.
