The most popular game is Satat - from the Hindi "saat hant" meaning "seven hands" - which is a 4-player partnership game using the international 52-card pack. It is related to the Indian game of Seven Hands (or Court Piece), but in Mauritius the 2 is the highest card and players are allowed to signal their partners when they hold the highest remaining card of a suit or are playing their last card of a suit.
