Card games in Jordan

Trex (also known as Tricks or Trix) is a four-player compendium game using the standard 52-card pack in which the five contracts are No Tricks, No Queens, No Diamonds, No King of Hearts and Dominoes from the Jack.

Basra is a fishing game, also played with the 52-card pack.

Hand is a popular rummy game played with a double 52-card pack plus two jokers.

Banakil is another, less well-known rummy game played with the same cards.

Money is a children's game in which the play pile is captured by playing an equal card, and picture cards can be used to buy cards when needed.

Checkmate is a children's game related to Crazy Eights, in which anyone who plays an Ace may be given a King by another player.
