It can be played with 2-5 players. When playing with two people 13 cards are handed to each player but when playing with 3-5 players 7 cards are handed to each player.
The object of the game is to get rid of all your cards.
Deal:
After cards are handed out to each person, the deck is placed face down and the top card flipped over. This will be the starting card.
Play:
The person who is going first can place a card one value higher or one value lower than that card that is face up. So if the card is a 7, the player who is first can put down a 6 or 8. Also you can add cards up!! So if a 7 was faced up, and you have a 5 and a 3, which make 8, you can place these cards in any order and put them down. The next card played by the next player would have to be one higher or lower than the very top card that is face up on the pile. So if the 5 is placed on top of the 3 as these cards were placed on the pile, the 5 is the last card played, so now the next person can put down a 4 or 6 or can add cards up to 4 or 6.
The King, Jack, and Queen are numbered as: King (13), Jack(11), and Queen(12). So a Jack could be placed on top of a 10 in a game. The next person could then place a queen or a 10 on the Jack, or the player can add cards up to 10 or a queen which is 12!
If you don't have anything to pplay then you pick up a card and it is the next person's turn!
