Domino Shedding Games

These are domino games in which the main objective is to be the first player to empty your hand by playing all your tiles, or failing that to have as few tiles or as few spots as possible when the play ends. The term "to domino" is used by some authors meaning to end the play by being the first to run out of tiles. Others use the more general term "to go out".

Most domino connecting games have this objective, though some have other more important goals such as scoring for creating particular tile configurations in the layout. The aim of getting rid of tiles is not confined to connecting games but is also found in other types of domino game. There are also many shedding games that use playing-cards rather than tiles.

Here is a list of traditional and invented domino games on pagat.com that have shedding tiles as their main objective.
